Welding and Fabrication Training Facility

Students will learn how to weld with various welding processes, understand
structural blueprint reading and welding symbols. Training performed by a
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with over 18 years experience in the structural
steel industry.

Course Offerings:

Perform Many Welding Processes, Including:
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
  • Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), etc.
  • Perform Oxygen-Acetylene Burning
  • Operate Fabrication Tools
  • Blueprint Reading
  • Quality Control
  • Understanding Weld Symbols
  • Understanding AWS D1.1 Welding Codes
  • Safety Practices

This program also provides welder qualification/certification tests administered by
a Certified Welding Inspector.
